STORY:
奈多みどり荘ビーチハウスは、八幡奈多宮に通じる南北2kmの松林の中にある一軒家です。目の前には、伊予灘を望む日本の白砂青松100選に選ばれた奈多海水浴場が広がります。
由緒ある八幡奈多宮に隣接する奈多みどり荘は、八幡信仰の総本宮・宇佐神宮のご神体を奈多宮まで運ぶ行幸会の際の休憩場所として始まりました。1960-70年代は大勢の海水浴客で賑わう海の家として繁盛しました。その後、廃業となりましたが、地元の人達が大切にしている松林と白砂の景観を引き継いで、2020年に民泊宿として生まれ変わりました。
Nada Midori sou—Nada Beach House—is a Japanese-style beach house surrounded by 2 kilometers of pine woods leading toward the Hachiman Nada shrine. The beautiful white sand beach in front of the house, and the pine groves surrounding it, were selected as among top in all of Japan.
The house was originally built as a rest house for monks and priests who carried the deity Hachiman from Usa Shrine to Nada Shrine. From 1960 to 1970, the house was a popular rest place for domestic tourists who came to enjoy the beach. The business was shuttered following depopulation in the area. However, locals began an initiative to preserve the beautiful environment of the green pine groves and white sand beaches. In 2020, the house was reopened as an accommodation for both domestic and international guests.
奈多みどり荘の目の前は、九州随一の日の出スポット。海に浮かぶ市杵島の鳥居から昇る荘厳な朝日を眺めながらの早朝のビーチウォークを是非お楽しみください。海の向こうには、四国・佐田岬が望めます。
The front of the house gives you a perfect view of one of the best sunrise-watching spots in all of Kyushu. You can also enjoy a majestic view of the torii gate on Ichiki Island as you take a beachside walk in the morning.
